Since 1998 I have been working intensively with oil and acrylic painting in my studio in Zwettl in Lower Austria, and since 2001 I have been taking part in international solo and group exhibitions and trade fairs.


The initially realistic paintings were increasingly followed by abstract and abstract works. This artistic change is reinforced by the use of a strong colour palette, whereby a pastose application of paint is sometimes used to emphasize the depth and intensity of the paintings.

In my so-called \u201cabstractures\u201d I represent different motifs in a structured manner in an abstract way.

Light and dark colors are in tension with each other, intensifying light and shadow and thereby emphasizing plasticity.

The canvas, the original source material, becomes the focus of the work.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
